Demo: a bilingual editorial experience designed to turn discovery into direct bookings.

The problem
A rural retreat sells far more than a room: it sells time, landscape and a different pace of life. That experience is lost when the website looks like a generic catalogue or forces guests to book through third parties.
This is a demo project — an entirely fictional property, Vagar do Sul — created to explore direct bookings for a small rural retreat in Alentejo.
What I built
I created a bilingual editorial experience presenting the house, rooms, breakfast, landscape and local experiences through a calm visual narrative.
The date search leads directly to a validated availability enquiry, keeping the booking journey simple on mobile and desktop.
